We need a 5th member with a trustworthy
car for our lift club. This person needs to be concidered of the other
members and be on time, cause every minute you're late effects our
trip's length in the traffic.
We leave around 05:30 from Paarl East to start pick-ups of the
members. We have to be in town by 07:30 for first person who starts
work that time. The rest start at 08:00. Then we start picking up
members in afternoon from 16:00. Last one at 16:30, then home to
Paarl. We get home from around 17:45 onwards.
We will be 5 members if you join us, and then you will be allocated
with one day a week to drive. So you only drive in about 4 times a
month, except if someone is sick/on leave. Then that person has to
exchange their lift turns with other members to make up for the lost
turns. |

driver’s license.

person works and check the facts by phoning the person’s work for
confirmation.

If you are a woman, you may want
to only have a lift club with other women for safety sake.

Make sure the car is in a
reasonable condition.

A lift club is an informal
arrangements and not a business. Don’t try running a taxi service! Check the
legalities of your lift club arrangements, if in doubt.

Advise you family and friends
about the details of your lift club arrangements.

If the driver appears to have
been drinking alcohol or drives negligently, terminate the arrangement
immediately.

Consult your local police
station and traffic department for further safety tips.
